We use Royal Mail as a default (Other Courier companies are available), you can use other companies. You can configure your default shipping rates using the options below. You can set default shipping rates for each product type *(e.g. Vinyl, CD, Computer Games etc…) and within each product type you can add multiple countries and the shipping rate that should be applied.
You can select a group of countries (e.g. Europe or World – Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3) and this will apply the shipping rate to all countries within these’s zones.
The last row of each section should use the “All Other Countries” (*) option, so that every other country that you have not specifically set will have a shipping rate.
On all new seller accounts we do provide all the default shipping rates set to reasonable real world prices, but you can override these with your own values if the rates are not accurate for your situation.
* As of 4/4/2022, Royal Mail increased their fees, it’s wise to check them on https://www.royalmail.com/current-postage-prices download a price list. We can not guarantee (This is only as an aid to help you! ) that the prices within, will not cover the postage after associated costs of stationary etc, It’s a guide and its down to the seller to tweak the prices, to match the weight of the item and destination of what is being sold. Eg. A Console outside the UK is not a default, but you can add it individually if a customer asks if are you sending to the USA etc.
